| MHS Teachers Awarded Grant | |

The Global EDGE Tech Prep Consortium, in conjunction with Collin College, awarded a grant for $1, 420 to Mrs. Tambi Arnold, technology teacher, and Mrs. Kay Earnhart, art teacher. The grant was approved for the purchase of four Wacom Intuos graphic drawing tablets to be used in the multimedia and advanced art classes. The Wacom Intuos tablets are state-of-the-art tablets and will aide students in rendering graphic pieces using the same technology that is used in post-secondary graphic education and professional production. Mrs. Arnold and Mrs. Earnhart see these tablets as vital to the MHS technology and art programs as they prepare students for a changing world, one which will greatly need and prize artistic and conceptual abilities. |
